I helped launch DTS surround sound to the consumer market in 1995, pioneered Pro Tools turnkey studios and Pro Tools training, and built the Modern Drummer Planet, a live platform that brings decades of drumming history, community and commerce into one place.
My position on AI in music
AI should protect the people who make music. I support tools built on consent, attribution, compensation and verification. The most useful AI I have deployed retrieves and cites human-authored work instead of replacing it.
