I design recording studios for the artists, producers and companies at the top of the music industry. I served as Aerosmith’s in-house engineer and technologist, built two studios for Ozzy Osbourne, pioneered Pro Tools turnkey studios and training, and through Frangioni Media have created projects for Elton John, Cher, The Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. Every room starts with how the artist works: the music, the workflow and the sound they already hear in their head. The result is a private studio that is ready the moment inspiration strikes.
Home Studios
Record whenever inspiration strikes in your very own home studio. We design and build custom recording spaces that are suited to your individual needs. We’ll approach your recording studio’s design with the room’s dimensions and materials in mind. Our soundproofing techniques keep the music inside the room and exterior noises outside the walls, saving yourself and neighbors from annoyance. Acoustic treatments ensure that every note sounds its very best, minimizing reverb and echo.

What makes a world-class recording studio design?
It starts with how the artist works. Room dimensions, isolation, acoustic treatment, monitoring and the technical system are designed together around the artist’s workflow, so the room sounds right and the technology disappears.
Do you design Dolby Atmos studios?
Yes. I design rooms for Dolby Atmos and immersive work, informed by my own Atmos mixes of KISS Dressed to Kill and Rock And Roll Over and my work on the first 5.1 DTS surround music CD in 1995.
