For more than three decades I have worked behind the scenes with artists who expect the technology to disappear so the music can come through. These are selected credits, each one tied to the work itself.
Selected Artists
Aerosmith. In-house engineer and technologist for many years across singles, albums and tours: seven albums with sales of more than 40 million records, plus the Spider-Man theme with Joe Perry, his first all-digital recording.
Bryan Adams. Computers and MIDI, in a working relationship that spans more than 30 years.
Ozzy Osbourne. Two studios, his Beverly Hills home studio and later The Bunker, and two seasons of The Osbournes. Working alongside Ozzy was one of the great honors of my life. Rest in peace, Ozzy.
KISS. Current Dolby Atmos mixes.
Also. The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Ringo Starr, Sting, Phil Collins, Journey, Styx, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Rascal Flatts, Cher and Chick Corea, with gold and platinum albums as technical consultant, engineer and programmer.
Technology Firsts
A MIDI consulting business at 16. Pro Tools turnkey studios and training in the 1990s. The first 5.1 DTS surround music CD in 1995. Today, Modern Drummer Planet and AI advisory work for technology companies, labels and catalog owners. More on my music technology and AI platforms page.
