The most interesting screen in a room is the one that isn’t there until you want it. That is what C SEED does, and it is why I offer the full C SEED line through Frangioni Media and design those rooms and terraces myself.
For most of my career, the screen has been the problem in a beautiful room. Architects and interior designers spend a year getting a space right, and then a big black rectangle takes over the wall. We hide them behind panels, lift them out of cabinets, drop them from ceilings. C SEED solved it differently. The screen is a sculpture when it is closed, and a 4K MicroLED display when it opens.
What Makes It Different
The N1 stands freely in a room like a piece of furniture and unfolds its panels in under a minute. The M1 rises out of the floor before it unfolds. Outdoors, the N1 Outdoor is built for daylight and weather, and the Hyde 125 speakers come up out of the ground and disappear again when the party is over. Each one turns a room or a terrace into two different spaces: one for living, one for watching.
Where the Work Is
The product is extraordinary, but the result depends on the planning. Floor structure, dedicated power, drainage for outdoor casings, sightlines for a screen that rotates, sound that matches the picture and a control system that makes the whole room respond at once. In Florida add sun, salt air and storm season. That is the part I care about, because it is the difference between a demo and a room people actually use.
