What We Will Talk About
The conversation centers on my book, Trusted by Legends: Success in Music, Audio Production, and the Performing Arts, with a foreword by Paul Stanley. The book is about how trust gets earned and kept with the artists who matter most: preparation, craft, judgment and delivering when the pressure is highest.
We will get into building trusted relationships with artists, connecting technical expertise with creative vision, and developing a career that lasts in entertainment. I’ll also share where I see AI and automation fitting into music and audio work right now, and how students can position themselves for it.
Why Full Sail
Full Sail trains the people who will run the studios, stages and platforms of the next twenty years. I’ve joined their Taking Flight series before, and every time the students’ questions are sharp and practical. My own path ran from serving as Aerosmith’s in-house engineer and technologist to building studios for Ozzy Osbourne, creating the Dolby Atmos mixes of KISS Dressed to Kill and Rock And Roll Over, and leading Modern Drummer as owner and CEO. The lessons that carried me through all of it are the ones I wrote the book about.
